Levan Elbakidze
Mr. Levan Elbakidze’s research experience includes water resources management and energy, advanced environmental economics, mathematical programming, state energy policy analysis, agricultural biosecurity, animal disease prevention and mitigation of animal disease consequences, climate change, and economic analysis. Levan Elbakidze published numerous scientific papers on these and other subjects relevant to development.
Currently, Mr. Elbakidze is a tenured associate professor of the West Virginia University, Morgantown, WV. He teaches resource economics and management. Previously he worked at the Idaho University and Texas A&M University teaching agricultural economics.
He holds B.S. and M.S. Degrees of the University of Nevada, Reno, Nevada. Mr. Elbakidze obtained his Ph.D. in 2004 from the Texas A&M University, College Station, Texas.
Levan Elbakidze is fluent in Georgian, English, and Russian.
