Mr. Jelle Tas has over 15 years of experience in business development, sales and marketing support activities for various value chains. His expertise comprises of finding market access, strategic planning, post-harvest handling, quality standards, as well as handling and logistics improvement.  Particular direction in his portfolio of professional concentration is Economic and Financial analysis and appraisal of agricultural investments. During his professional career, Mr. Tas has amassed experience in project scoping, design and formulation, as well as Theory of Change, Monitoring and Evaluation, and application of advanced software.

 

Jelle Tas has been working with various multilateral and bilateral development organizations in various parts of the world, such as Africa, Caribbean, South-East Asia, and Former Soviet Union. He has more than 10 years’ experience in managing commercial agribusiness activities in Netherlands and Africa.

Mr. Tas is B.S. in Business Economics and in Logistic Management of the University of Applied Sciences, Amsterdam, Netherlands.

 

Jelle Tas is a native Dutch speaker. He’s fluent in English, proficient in Italian, and has some command of Portuguese.
